In Patagonia, there are endless rivers and lakes providing some of the world’s best trout fishing experiences. Spring creeks, tailwaters, freestone rivers, glacial rivers, and hundreds of lakes are all scattered throughout the country.

Bravo Sur fishing adventure will take you through some of the most fascinating rivers and northern lakes region of Patagonia.

Let’s go fishing!

Located right at the foot hills of the majestic Cordillera de Los Andes Mountains, Alumine River offers the most unique fishing experiences in the whole Argentinean Patagonia.

Most of the area’s crystal clear rivers begin high in the Andes and wind their way through the Andean foothills to the valleys below. Each river you will explore in Patagonia has its own unique characteristics, its own well kept secrets and greatest challenges.

Bravo Sur professional fishing guides will lead you through these magnifique, pristine waters with absolutely no fishing pressure. Discover the secrets of these rivers and lakes and enjoy the ultimate Argentinean fly-fishing adventure.

Alumine River is situated less than 2 hours away from San Martin de Los Andes City, your preferred arrival point. This river is 170km long providing the best trout fishing scenarios for the most demanding angler.

The great diversity in lakes like Quillen, Pulmari, Ñorquinco and endless rivers such as Alumine, Quillen, Pulmari, Malleo and Collon Cura will offer you not only a successful catch but also diverse fishing experiences with the most amazing landscapes throughout the ride that will definitely take your breath away.

By the beginning of the season, nymphs and streamers take protagonism and as soon as the summer begins, by the end of December, dry flies are the protagonists. If you are a dry fly lover, this is the right place for you to put your fishing knowledge into practice.

Big rivers will find us sailing highly equipped boats while smaller rivers are perfect for wading. Our fishing guides could sail the rivers and lakes of Patagonia literally with their eyes closed. They will take you to the best fishing spots as they are experts in trout behavior.

Our fishing program includes first class accommodation, exquisite meals with the best tasting Argentinean wines, combined with exciting fishing and the beauty of the Andes.

Do not hesitate to Choose Bravo Sur for your next fishing adventure!

bravo sur REVIEWS

- What our friends say -

The service was brilliant. There is nothing to complain about it. I travelled with friends and it was one of the best trips ever! The food was excellent. I am sure we will be doing more trips with Bravo Sur. Cheers!

I met the Buzurros more than 10 years ago. They are my favorite guides for Limay, Alumine and Juramento rivers. At the beginning it was a friends trip but now it is something I love doing with my wife. The food and the boats always top notch... From the day I met then I recommend the Diego and Dario, and I always will! I will always wish them the best for their business as they always want the best for their guests.

Sindo Fariña.
Diego is hands down the best fishing guide of many I know. I've been floating with him for 15 years now and him, as well as his team are warranty of a great fishing and fine moments on that outstanding river. When you are on the river with them, it's always a very comfortable experience since they are always trying to push us to be better. Lunch time by the river, the firepit, amazing food nicely prepared, great memories I will never forget.

Marcelo Riero.
It has been 13 years since we first floated with Diego. From that day on, floating with Diego and his team has been a tradition for me and my dad. They have made being on the river with my dad such a beautiful exprerience, where fishing is only an excuse to enjoy some quality time together. Diego and his team are highly professional, dedicated, respectful, educated and energetic people who will never take anyone for granted and will always give a hand to those who might need fishing lessons. I will never get tired of recommending them since I have no doubt they are the best. Thank you!

Nacho Garriz.
I fly fish with Diego and his team since 2013, always with friends, looking for the best trouts of the season. Lucky us, many of them and the best ones have agreed to take pictures with us. The service offered by Diego and his team has no weak points... Guides who know the rivers by the palm of their hands... Always giving the best advices and willing to go beyond so that you have the best time on the rivers. I know now I can call them my friends. They have taught me a lot of how little I know... We chose them once I continue to choose them today. Cheers!
